Suzie was one of the most outstanding softball players to come out of Arizona. An outstanding short stop and outfielder. She played for the nationally ranked Sun City Saints team. Over her twenty-seven year career from 1968 to 1995 she was named All-American in 1978, 1980, 1985, 1988, 1989, 1990 and 1994. Played on the United Stated Pan-American Team in 1979, 1983, 1987 and 1991 and served as captain of the 1987 and 1991 team. Suzie was a member of the 1979 ASA National Champion Sun City Saints Team and named First Team All-American while attending Arizona State University
