Flora Bell was a legend and pioneer in Arizona softball. She played second base and outfield several of Arizona’s finest. In her 14 year softball career she played for the PBSW Ramblers, Woodman of the World, Daniel Jewels, Denton Tire, Tavernettes, Cantaloupe Queens and the national champion A-1 Queens. She was a member of the 1947 A-1 Queens NSC National Championship team. She played in two national tournaments. A career cut short by an auto accident, who knows what other accomplishments she would have attained
