An All-American and member of the five-time national champion Phoenix A-1 Queens, this superlative outfield, consistent hitter and excellent base runner was one of Arizona’s greatest women softball players. Her achievements earned selection to the Queens’ All-time Team. Each year found her among the leading in runs scored and stolen bases. Her softball career began in Glendale, advancing to major league softball with the A-1 Queens and Phoenix Holsum Bakery Maids. She retired in 1951 after earning All-America honors and helping the Queens to the national championship. She played in nine regional and national tournaments
