A member of the famed Phoenix PBSW Ramblers, she competed in 25 national tournaments and was chosen on 10 national tournament all- star teams. A versatile performer, she was equally skilled in the infield and outfield, performing with three national championship teams – PBSW Ramblers, Orange, California Lionettes and Stratford, Connecticut Raybestos Brakettes, winning eight national titles. A veteran of international competition, she represented the U. S. State Department on a six-week tour of the Caribbean in 1960 and competed in the first International Softball Tournament in Melbourne, Australia, in 1965.
