Jimmy Turner a Veteran/Utility Player began playing Little League Baseball at an early age, but became interested in softball after watching a local game while visiting Phoenix. He wanted to play so he moved to Glendale and played on his first team called B & K. Jimmy joined the Schaefer-Smith-Ankeney Insurance Team and finally played for another great Arizona team called, 7th Avenue Auto Parts. During his 31+ years playing, he attended numerous State, Regional, and National Championships. His career batting average was .350+. Jim was as a member of the Schaefer-Smith-Ankeney Insurance Team was the Runner-Up Champion in the 1982 ISC World Championship.
