In his 39 year softball carreer, Lonnie pitched for several top Arizona teams including the Southern Truck Raiders, Culivers Sierra Vista, the Advocates and Yuma-Kellands. Lonnie also played and pitched for ASA senior teams. Lonnie was selected All State Pitcher four times. In the ASA 40 & Over he was named All American pitcher four times and in NAFA he was named All World pitcher. He played in 11 ISC World Tournaments and on two Arizona State League Championship teams.
