Ed has been involved in fast pitch softball as a player, sponsor, coach and ASF (AZ Softball Foundation) Board Member since 1979.
As a player, he attended 10 National and World championships tournaments from 1979 through 2000. As a contributor/sponsor, Ed secured sponsorships from Paddock Pools for many years. - 1982-1995. Ed served as a coach for girls and mens teams from 1982 through 2000. He currently serves as Golf Chair for the Arizona Softball Foundation Board of Directors.

Ed was a member of the 1994 Advocate's, North American Fast Pitch Association, AAA Open National Champions.
