An All-America second baseman and member of the 1940 World Champion PBSW Ramblers of Phoenix, she competed in five national tournaments during an illustrious career in which she earned national acclaim for her bunting and base-stealing skills as well as her prowess afield. A swift base runner, she averaged 44 stolen bases per season, compiled a .275 batting average, and posted a brilliant .910 fielding average.
