Lauren pitched for the varsity softball team at Deer Valley High School with an ERA 0.60, innings pitched 513, strike outs 969, OPP bat average .112, fielding percent .995, batting average .509, scored 144 runs, 200 hits, 160 RBIs, 47 home runs and broke Arizona’s state hitting record with 48 in one season. Lauren was named to the 2011 Max Preps Softball All-American First Team and a member of the 2011 Louisville Slugger/NFCA High School All-American Team. She played on the Arizona Hotshots Gold Team for two seasons. Lauren played Internationally as a member of the 2010 Gold Medal Junior Pan-American team, team USA in the III Pan-American Championship, hitting .400. In 2011, as a member of the Junior World Championship team and Gold Junior World Championship, as well as pitched against Japan in Cape Town, South Africa. Lauren attended University of Florida and continued to receive recognition for her pitching and hitting skills. Following her college career, Lauren played professionally for four years with the Dallas Charge and Scrap Yard Fastpitch.
