One of the greater softball pitchers in Arizona history, his credentials include three perfect game including one in which he struck out 21 batters, 45 n-hitters and participation in 10 world championship tournaments in a 31-year career. A find batter as well, his pitching accomplishments produced three Arizona state championships for the Coolidge Boosters. During his years as a pitcher in major league softball, he also competed for the following teams; Tempe Bulldogs, Mesa, Denton Tires of Phoenix, Luke Air Force Base, Baltimore, Md. Eastern Regional champions), Morenci, Deal Motors of El Paso, Turf Paradise of Phoenix and G & B Plumbing of Phoenix.
