Bob was the sponsor and coach of the Phoenix Westerners for more than 20 years. He won eight state championships, Seven Copperstate League titles and numerous other honors. He amassed a career record of 1, 122 wins and 248 loses. He was a pitcher for the Phoenix Senators in the old Arizona-Texas League. Bob worked tirelessly for fast pitch and his’ Beloved Westerners as a manager, coach and sponsor.
